Motivation and Encouragement for Dissertation Writers Across Disciplines

Website Wednesday: Advice to Writers

In online resources, TD:D Giveaway!, Website Wednesday on June 23, 2010 at 5:44 am

The website Advice to Writers includes daily quotes, writing manual recommendations, and links to articles and essays about writing.  Although some of the resources are meant for fiction writers, several are also applicable to dissertation writing.

One of my favorite motivational quotes from the site is by Tara Moss who says, “Write. Start writing today. Start writing right now. Don’t write it right, just write it –and then make it right later. Give yourself the mental freedom to enjoy the process, because the process of writing is a long one. Be wary of “writing rules” and advice. Do it your way.”

If you find any articles or resources on the site that you especially like, please share them in the comments section below.

And don’t forget that today is the last day to enter the TD:D Giveaway.  Check back tomorrow to find out the winner!
