Gradshare is an online graduate student community “where graduate students help each other succeed.” What a fantastic idea!

At this site, you can pose a question or problem and hear what other graduate students in your field have to say about it. When you ask a question, you choose the subject area where you want to post it.

You can explore the site without joining first to see if the community might be helpful for you. Here are a couple example questions to give you a taste of the conversations happening at Gradshare:

  • Humanities: Anyone else out there working on a thesis dealing with Catholic priests or the Catholic priesthood?
  • Physical Sciences: Has anyone used software to do peak deconvolution? If so what software did you use and were you able to get quantifiable results?
  • Social Sciences: How does authorship work with dissertations?

This is a great site to learn from the experiences of your graduate students peers – and don’t forget to share your experiences as well!
